13 square yards of new from old stock cotton jacquard upholstery fabric. I was not happy with the photos of this fabric; it is gorgeous, and the pics look yellowed from the sunlight and the sheen of the silky threads of the woven fabric. We were at a local estate on the Gulf and it was a big one. I noticed their antique dining room chairs were recovered in this gorgeous fabric and they looked unbelievable. Next to the chairs stood this huge roll of the fabric that was used to recover them. They were originally going to sell the fabric with the chairs but since no one was biting on the furniture they sold me the roll.
I nearly fell over when I heard how much this fabric was per yard in the 1990s. I know that woven upholstery fabrics are expensive, but I have not been keeping up with a lot of textiles so even though that was over 30 years ago, it was ridiculous. I figured if someone picked it up for even a 1/3 of what it sells for today it would be a good deal for someone.
The roll stands 56" tall and measures 302" long. I worked it out to be slightly over 13 square yards. You can do a lot of covering and projects with that much fabric. Enough for dining room chairs, rockers, a small sofa....
The fabric came from a smoke free and pet free home (same as we have here or we would not have taken it - I have major allergies). No rips, tears, stains or odors. You may notice the raw cut edge discolored from age and roll but only a few inches. This is a fantastic value. It will come to you on the roll and we will INCLUDE SHIPPING FOR OUR USA RESIDENTS.
