This is the largest size platter offered in the Wedgwood Etruria Country Lane Collection. This collection was a short run from 1955 to 1963 and these pieces are becoming harder to find. I was most impressed by the condition of this platter, and this collection. I thought this was newer Wedgwood until I researched and saw the back stamps. I would not have known it was over 60 years old otherwise. The colors and glaze and superb.
The platter measures 14 1/4" X 11 3/8 with a shallow depth of 1 1/4". As mentioned above, it is in Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flake, repairs or wear to the transfer.
This would be gorgeous on painted cupboard when not in use. Add a few more of our pieces and it would be a smashing cupboard display.
