A darling vintage minature size toby mug of Queen Bess aka Queen Elizabeth I made in Hanley England. This is the perfect size for a small shelf, curio or even your desk. It is in Very Good estate condition with no chips, flakes or cracks seen. The colors are bright and clean.
This collectible has the Lancasters Ltd trademark and we can confidently date between 1938-1944. Lancasters of Hanley England started in 1899 and went through several name changes and marks which are well documented.
She will set lovely on a shelf, counter and is even a nice desk size to store something small. It stands 2 1/2" tall and measures 1 1/2" across the opening at the top with a span of 3" across the front.
