Vintage Le Creuset Cousances Small Sauté Pans No. 16, Cast Iron French Enamel Orange & Brown Cookware MCM Kitchen
Great looking pair of vintage Cousances Saute Pans No. 16. Cousances was the company before Le Creuset took over in 1957. These cast iron French enamel pans are smaller in size and super for cooking up your onions, mushrooms, and sauces. The colors are perfect for your Mid Century Modern or Danish Modern kitchen.
The pans are identical in size. The only difference we see is that the brown pan has an end lip (directly opposite of the handle) and the orange pan does not. Both pans have 2 pour spouts. These are a great size for sauté and for make a 2-3 eggs. The condition is Good+ for their age. We see light surface scratches on the white enamel but no deep scratches or anything that goes through the surface of the enamel. For over 65 years old I give them an 8 out of 10. A nice set.
The pans measure 10 1/2" & 10 3/8" long with a 6 1/2" spout to spout measurement and a 1 3/8" depth.
