A wonderful vintage Staffordshire England Coffee Set by Johnson Bros. This 3 piece set has a pattern name of Old Granite or Fruit Sampler and this is the older issue of the set. We will be adding other pieces to this set this week so please continue to check back. This pattern works well with country, farmhouse, and cottage decors.
The set is in Good condition with appropriate age wear but nothing glaring. I try to point out anything I see. There are no chips or flakes on any of the pieces. There is a tight hairline on the inside spout of the coffee pot (see photo). It does not leak and does not go through to outside. There is crazing on the lids of both pieces. The colors are gorgeous and clean as well as the insides of these pieces.
The coffee pot stands 6 3/4" to the edge of the rim without the lid and approximately 8 1/2" to the top of the lid. The pot holds about cups of liquid. It has a about a 9 1/2" span from handle to spout. The creamer stands 3 1/4" tall and the sugar bowl 3 1/4" tall without the lid and approximately 4 3/4" tall with with lid.
This would be a lovely display in your country or farmhouse home when not in use. Remember to check back as we add the rest of the set it will make a really nice cabinet or shelf display.
