A gorgeous Italian signed cameo in 18k gold for the lover of cameos. This cameo has a convertible setting and can be worn as a brooch or a pendant. It is in wonderful estate found condition.
This cameo has an 18k gold setting which is highly polished and has small rope detail on the frame. It measures 1" long by 3/4" wide not including the bale. It is just shy of 1/4" in depth. The cameo is translucent when held up to the light. No chips, cracks or flakes the cameo. The setting is gorgeous and is marked with a tag on the back 18k for gold purity, the word "Italy" an artist mark of "HF". Below the word Italy there is another stamp that has been cut off and we can not decipher it.
The total weight of the piece is 4 grams. There is a slight wave to the pin. We did not try to straighten it because it fits into the fold over safety catch perfectly.
