A dainty vintage 14k yellow gold diamond ring c1960s. This three stone diamond ring has a bypass illusion setting. The diamonds are small but bright and this would make a wonderful promise ring or engagement ring. We have enlarged the first photo to give you the most detail. The ring has been safely tested and is guaranteed to be 14k yellow gold. We see the remnants of a mark inside the band but it is too faded to read under magnification. The ring setting measures nearly 1/2" from north to south and 1/4" from east to west. The ring is well crafted and has a weight of 2.5 grams including the stones.
This vintage diamond ring has three stones with the center being slightly larger at 2mm. The diamonds on either side are 1.5mm stones. The diamond total carat weight is approximately .09 almost 1/10 of a carat. The diamonds are in an illusion setting which gives them a slightly larger appearance. This type of setting was popular from the late 1950s through the 1970s.
