Antique Victorian Gold Filled Etched Hinged Bangle Bracelet c1890-1905. This signed antique bracelet is much more beautiful in person than in our photos. I must have had a setting on my camera wrong because the gold looks flat. This is shiny and in beautiful condition for a bracelet that is 110-130 years old.
The bracelet is made for a smaller wrist. My model has a 6 1/2" wrist and it fits her perfectly with just a little room left. The bracelet has a width of about 1/4". It has a side push button to release the hidden clasp which is working perfectly. The inside of the bangle is highly polished. The bracelet was manufactured by Louis Stern & Company and is marked LS & Co on the hinge. I tried to photograph the mark which is all caps simple block letters but it was too small for me to get a good shot. Louis Stern and Co made jewelry starting in 1871. We can safely date this sometime between 1890-1905.
