A wonderful vintage rosary in stunning cobalt blue faceted beads and sterling silver construction. This 1940-1950s rosary is the perfect gift for any of the Catholic Sacraments. It is a Five Decade Rosary with 59 beads and it is in Good+ estate condition. The beads are bright, clean and show minimal wear for their 70-80 years.
The beads are as bright as they appear in the photos and this rosary could be worn as a necklace. The rosaries measure 21 1/4" stretched out from end to end. The wearable length around the neck is 28". The cross measures 1 5/8"L X 1" W. The total weight is 33.7 grams. These will arrive in a plush velvet pouch and gift boxed.
The medal on this lovely strand reads "Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima" on one side and the reverse side is Jesus with Cross. Medal and Crucifix both marked sterling. Cross also marked what appears to be MM (see photo)
