Vintage Art Deco Era Sterling Silver Cameo of the Roman Goddess Ceres. This beautiful shell carved cameo has a gorgeous sterling silver filigree frame with flower detail. The cameo is a nice size with the setting measuring 1 3/4" H by 1 1/2" W and the oval shell carved cameo measuring 1 3/8" by 1".
The cameo is in Very Good estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes to the shell carving. The setting is marked sterling for silver content and has been safely tested to be so. The setting has been hand polished with a soft cloth and there is just the right amount of patina left to accent the lovely floral detail.
This is a stunning piece for the cameo collector.
