A great looking piece of earl RRP Co (Robinson Ransbottom Co, Roseville, OH) in the Spongeware Blue pattern. This individual salad bowl has a wonderfully vivid spongeware pattern around the outside of the bowl. The stoneware bowl has evenly tanned from age and the combination is beautiful for farmhouse, country or cottage decor.
This bowl is without any chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. Color is tad darker inside the bowl but nothing major (see photos) We give it a 9.0 out 10 (we call nothing vintage perfect but this is darn close). Whether you collect this pattern from RRP Co or just want to use this as an accent piece with your decor, you will not be disappointed. It presents perfectly and can sit alone or with something inside.
The bowl measures 6 3/4" across the opening and stands about 3 1/4" tall. It is not a large bowl but is just so... well perfect. No matter where I put it or what I put it next to, it was an inviting piece.
