Great looking authentic set of 1960s Mid Century Modern Fritz Nagel and Caesar Stoffi designed modular candlestick holders for WMF Germany. This set of 5 highly desirable candle holders can be made to form many different sculptures that will work as candle holders for thin 1/2" taper candles.
This set of 5 stacking candle holders has a bright nickel-plated finish and shows minimal signs of age wear. It will match any of your Chrome decor. We see no pitting and very faint patina. The metal is still bright and shiny. We only did a light polishing with a soft cloth; with a little more TLC these will be incredible.
Each of the 5 pieces stands 2 3/8" tall. This is an exact measurement. I know the advertisement and book measurement is 2 1/2", as they round it up. It measures 4" long on each side. You can stack these in variety of ways or scatter throughout a room, cupboard or shelf.
These designer holders are in Very Good+ Condition for their 60 or so years of age. No dings, dents or other physical imperfections seen. One of the nicest sets we have seen of these. They normally have pitting by the time we see them. They also have a really nice weight to them and will not tip over easily if you have pets or small children.
