A beautiful piece of vintage pressed pattern glass by Tiara Glass Co. c1970. Yellow Constellation Candy Jar with lid is the largest size candy jar in this now discontinued collection. It is a gorgeous heavy piece of glass, and definitely big enough to use as a biscuit jar.
We have 2 more piece of this collection coming this week. We show you the other pieces our 3rd photo and they make a gorgeous presentation together. We show them on our entry table. Could also use on a sofa table, server, vanity or dresser.
The jar is listed as a large candy jar, but this could also easily be a biscuit jar. It is definitely large enough.
This candy jar is lidded and perfect to hold sweet treats or other small goodies. It stands about 8 1/4" tall to the top finial of the lid or 5 3/4" to the top rim of the jar. It has a 6" opening across the top. The condition is Very Good. No cracks or repairs. We note the smallest of flakes on the inner edge of lid (see photo). These probably would not be mentioned by most, but we are as specific as possible. They are too small to measure, and we had to greatly enlarge photo to show.
