This MCM swing arm table lamp stands 17 1/4" to the top of the shade. As soon as you pick it up, there is no surprise that it is a Walter Von Nessen Studio design. It weighs over 10 lbs unpackaged!! The lamp measures 8" across the base and the arm swings out 18" from the center post (see photo 2.) This 1960s lamp is in Very Good pre-owned condition. We see less than normal wear. No dings or dents. Only a minimal loss of the brass finish where the center post meets the base (see last photo). The cord appears to be original and looks good. Lamp turns on and off easily. We always tell our customers to have ALL old wiring checked before you use in your home even if it is working.
The shade is white milk glass with an elongated honey comb pattern. It is free of any chips, cracks or flakes. We are going to ship the lamp shade separately from the lamp base as the weight of the base is too much to box together.
This lamp is a great style for industrial decor or MCM. It would work well on a desk, end table or night table.
