This set of three 1950s Redware Hand Painted Luster Breakfast Pitchers are the perfect serving pieces for your farmhouse or country table. They are in Excellent Condition for their over 70 years without any chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. They present beautifully. We note some crazing without discoloration but this is hardly noticeable with the gorgeous luster and hand painted roosters.
These will make a wonderful counter, cupboard or sideboard presentation when not in use. They will work will with your farmhouse, country, Americana or other rustic decors.
The largest pitcher for Batter stands 7" tall, measures 4 3/4" across the base and has a 3 1/4" opening. It holds 32 oz of batter. The other pitchers graduate down in in size as shown. The dark brown glaze is VERY DARK and has a luster finish to it. The roosters sitting on top of the roof are all raised relief and brightly hand-painted in red, blue, white and a pale green. The white spots you see in the photos is the glare from the luster.
