Farmhouse Antique Drop Leaf Gateleg Table Great Red Paint 17th Century Antique
17th Century Drop Leaf Gateleg Table with Great Red Paint
I was excited to find this Early American piece of finely crafted furniture. It originated out of Massachusetts and ended in a Florida estate. I provided 11 photos but if you
Take note of the batons which are dovetailed through the leaves. The underside is pit sawn and we have shown you the original hand forged hinges beside more modern hinges which are at least 150 years old. The width of the legs is 2 5/8" and the stretches are 2 1/2" X 2 1/2".
Other than the hinges I see no replacements on the table.
The table stands 28 1/2" tall and opens to 66 3/4" long with a 41 1/4" width. When folded the table measures 19" X 41 1/4". I believe is crafted of Elm wood.
Shipping is included in the price but please be advised that this is coming via Uship White Glove Service which is a door to door delivery service. Depending on timing this can be there in as little as a few weeks or as long as 4 weeks. I try my hardest to get it out as fast as possible but am at the mercy of finding a route in your direction which I can not plan until this piece is purchased.
A fantastic 17th Century Piece of Early American Furniture.
