Dazzling sparkle on this Estate Three Row Diamond Wedding Band. A beautifully crafted setting in Platinum with thirty-two individually set stones. This ring is a size 9.75 and can be resized to perfection by your jeweler.
It is always extremely hard to capture the fire of diamonds and the photos of this ring do not begin to show how brilliant they are. The center row has ten 2mm diamonds for a .30 carat weight. The top and bottom rows have each have nine 1.5mm diamonds for a .27 carat weight. There are also two 1.5mm diamonds on each side of the band (four diamonds total) for ,06 carat weight. The ring has a .63 total carat weight. The diamonds have tremendous color in the G-H range and beautiful clarity of VS2 to SI2.
The setting of the ring is done entirely in Platinum. It has been safely tested and it is also marked inside the band. The band has marks inside which we will mention further done. The height of the setting north to south is 5/16" and the diamonds span across the setting 3/4" from east to west. The height of the setting from the bridge (ring in profile) bottom to the top is approximately 1/8". The setting is solid and beautifully crafted with a 6.5 gram weight including the stones. This weightier than most women's rings we see on average.
The inside of the ring has several markings, some of which are stamped and not fully legible and some of which are hand engraved. We can clearly see the PL (Platinum) stamp and where the stamp was not fully incised. Before PL it reads "TRID.". There is a hand engraved mark that appears to be a date of 1-11-14 with three initials beside it in script that are worn. On another section of the ring we can clearly see "C" stamp and then the number 1883 which is faded. There is also what we believe to be an FB in a circle at the top inside of the ring seen in photo 9. The top of this mark is not fully legible. Honestly, we have never seen a ring with this much information inside of it. One possibility is that as the ring was passed down through the family and engravings or marks were added to signify events.
