How stunning is this authentic Art Deco Uranium (Vaseline) Glass Necklace?! When the glass is lit with a UV or Black Light it is simple MAGNIFICENT. Our photos do not show the full beauty as we only have a shop size UV light but if this is worn in a Club setting or anywhere with that kind of lighting it is going to glow like crazy. When it is not glowing it still smashing - I mean look at the emerald green color.
They can be worn from day to evening and dress up or down. This 1920s collector's piece measures 16" from end to end. Our model has them on for size on an average neck and if you feel it might be just a little too short visit Amazon and get a necklace extender for a few dollars.
Did we mention the color of the beads is gorgeous in emerald green?! They have tiny bubbles inside the glass upon inspection with 40X loupe helps us indicate the age. These are most likely Czech glass. The largest bead at the center 22mm L X 16mm W and the small bead up near the clasp measures 10mm L X 7.5mm W.
The clasp is original in brass and this is strung on a sturdier fine plastic cord thicker than let's say fishing line but not nearly as thick as the beaded pieces from the 50s and 60s. This is a BIG plus for this piece as cloth strung necklace always eventually need to be restrung.
The condition is Very Good for it's age. No major wear or damage. A stunning rare find for the Art Deco jewelry collector.
