An exquisite contemporary vintage Emerald ring in 14k yellow gold. This Emerald ring as vivid color and beautiful setting with channel set stones. It is a size 7 3/4 and can be resized by your jeweler for the perfect fit.
These are natural untreated stones. Upon 40X magnification you can see the imperfections in the stones. We expect to see this with natural emeralds. Lab created emeralds will show no flaws and are valued below natural emeralds. The center Emerald is an oval faceted stone measuring 6mm X 4mm X3mm. It has a .40 carat weight. It is surrounded by 18 round channel set emeralds, 2mm each, for an additional .54 carats of gemstone weight. The total Emerald carat weight is .94 carats.
The 14k gold setting has a almost a diamond shape. It measures 5/8" north to south and 3/4" east to west where the stones are set. The band and setting is beautifully crafted of highly polished yellow gold. The band measures 4mm at it's widest point on the sides and 2.3mm at the back. The ring is marked 14k gold and has been safely tested to be so. It has a weight of 4 grams including the stones. The ring has the earliest maker's mark of ESX for Essex International Co. (exporter of gold, diamonds and gemstone jewelry still in business today Bangkok, Thailand).
