A vintage c1960s tin-plate toy boat by Sutcliffe in England. This 1960s tin toy Jupiter Pilot Cruiser will make a great display piece for your coastal or nautical home/office. It is supposed to have a wind-up key but we did not acquire it with one so it is as we found it - not a working boat but a display piece.
We note the rudder is present and moving the lever does move the rudder back and forth as it should. We see a missing piece that is supposed to go from the top center of the hull and splits in two and attaches just above each side of the front windows. I am not sure what it is called but we can see it in other photos looks like a piece of plastic. I think on a real boat it might be rope.
The boat measures 9 3/4" long X 31/2" wide X 3 1/2" tall. We did not scrub this as clean as we could have for fear of removing the decals. You will be able to get what missed with a little TLC.
