A great big sterling silver Dragonfly brooch for the lover of these magical creatures! This c1980s Mexican sterling brooch has a wonderful glossy finish on 90% of the body with the exception of just under each wing where there is a bit of dainty raised repousse work which we purposely did not over polish because it gives it beautiful depth and age.
This brooch measures 2" in length with a wingspan of 2" as well. It is HALLMARKED 925 (sterling on the back) as well as MEX (Mexico) and TM-90 which is another Mexican hallmark used by many vintage designers. It has been safely tested to be sterling and hand polished. We do not dip or use and products on sterling as we like them to retain their retain as much of their natural beauty (polishing creams get in the crevices and never completely come off). Gram weight is 5.9.
