Here's an nice antique padlock from Davenport Mallory Smokehouse in New Haven CT. This beefy old lock crafted of iron and brass (on the little swing door) is in good antique condition. We see surface rust but no rot. The door slides smoothly to the left to reveal the key hole. They were somehow related to Wheeler Mallory Co in New Haven dating 1886-1913 so this one has some age. We do not have the key.
This is a great piece for the lock or industrial collector. Would also make a nice display piece in your farmhouse or industrial farmhouse home or business. We have some other industrial locks it would look great with hung or on a table shelf display.
The padlock measures 3 3/8" in length by 2 5/8" wide across the "ears" and at widest part of body. It has a 5.8" depth.
