This is a beautiful piece of signed antique Artwork for your Coastal or Nautical Home or Office. This William James Harris (1868-194)) signed and hand painted (tinted) photograph is from the 1920s. It is behind glass and in it's original frame with it's original matting. The matting is evenly tanned as you would expect from a 100 year piece. The hand tinted photo is gorgeous and we have shown it with different color backgrounds to give you and idea of how it might look with your walls or by changing the matte board. We did not open the back or take the photograph out, though we can see that someone prior to us had opened it. We typically do not mess with these things to avoid damaging sometime fragile artwork.
This piece is in Very Good condition for it's age. The photo is behind glass and the glass is all good as well.
The frame measures 23"L X 13 1/4"H X 3/4" D and the glass is all good. The wood frame has an antiqued gold finish with a teal green liner. We took close ups photos for your to see. The inside frame measurement is 22 3/4" L X 11 3/4" W and the photo size is approximately 17" X 7 1/2".
This would a great piece for your Coastal or Nautical home or office. We love the aged look of the matte board and it will fit in well if you are doing a tropical theme with more of a natural or rustic look.
