A simply gorgeous piece of antique ink colored flow blue. This plate called Old Castle was from Burgess & Leigh, Burslem England c1860.
This beautiful plate measures 8 3/4" and is in Very Good estate condition with no chips, cracks or flakes.
The blue transfer is bright and clean. The back of the plate shows crazing with mild discoloration in areas.
The plate is marked with the W in Diamond and the letter P below.
This will make a gorgeous display on a shelf, wall or even in a gift basket. Will work with your Victorian, French Country and Farmhouse decor.
