Any romantic style you put this Antique Ironstone Nappy Pot it will become a focal point. The aesthetic blue transfer on the white ironstone is gorgeous. And, unlike most of these chamber/slop pots this one has the lid fully in tact! This can be used in the bath to roll hand towels or as a floral center piece. These pots were used for rinsing cotton nappies/diapers. c1880-1890
The condition is Very Good for it's age. There are no chips, cracks, flakes or repairs to the pot or the lid. There is crazing with light discoloration. This can be seen in the photos. The pot stands 9" tall and measures 9.5" across the opening. It measures 11" across from handle to handle.
