A charming antique ironstone jug or small pitcher by Furnivals England in the Denmark Pink pattern. This sought after serving piece stands a little over 5 3/4" tall and holds 24 oz. It can be used as a large creamer, batter jug, vase or simply as a decorative piece. The pink red transfer will go with most of your other pink red transferware pieces. It is marked with the Furnivals tall ship mark dating this piece between 1895-1913.
This antique pitcher is in Good condition for it's age with no crazing or discoloration and no wear seen to the transfer. We note one inside rim repair which is an old and neatly done repair. You can view it in our photos. This is one of those harder to find serving pieces in this collection.
We love adding ironstone pieces to French Country, Country and Farmhouse decors but do not be scared to use vintage and antique pieces with your more contemporary and transitional styles especially for pops of color.
