This dazzling brooch reminded us of a lotus flower in shape with its many layers of petals. It is finely crafted piece which can be seen and felt by the weight and the details. The play of color is fantastic and changes with the light. We took several photos to show you how the background and lighting changes the look of these dynamic glass stones. This brooch is large in size measuring 2 1/8" across with a domed layered depth of nearly 3/4".
There are 25 smokey faceted navette stones measuring 17mm X 11mm. They are four prong set and open on the back of the setting allowing for maximum light exposure. The bottom layer of navettes alternates with 8 round faceted crystal aurora borealis (AB) stones 6mm and the top layer has 6 smaller 5mm stones alternating the navettes. Front and center is 6mm AB stone. The stones are in superb condition.
The setting is done is a highly polished silver tone setting with no wear to the finish. There is fold over safety catch.
