This piece of antique Faience earthenware pottery is from Spain. It has a gorgeous white glaze with colorful tin glaze decoration. The bowl is more of a basin shape measuring 12.75 inches across the opening and stand 2.25 inches tall. It could easily be the center of your display on a beautiful country cabinet. Will also work as a table centerpiece or fantastic fruit bowl. We see this working with several decorative styles including Farmhouse, French Country, Country, and Primitives.
This piece is in Good+ antique condition with no chips, cracks or flakes to the bowl. The dark spots you see at the rim and on the front and back are where the thick glaze was missed or worn off. The dark spots under the glaze are the earthenware. There is crazing with light discoloration on the front and a little darker on the back. It is an unsigned piece.
