1970s Larry Mahan Cowboy Boots 12EE Vintage Western Wear Fab Blue Jean Blue and White
1970s Larry Mahan all leather cowboy boots in a size 12EE (extra wide). These might be one of the nicest pair of vintage boots we've seen in good long time. They are from a one owner estate and they have been worn and loved but very well cared for. We took 10 photos for you to view these designer boots from every angle. They are crafted exceptionally well with a lot of life left in them.
If I measure the boots from toe to heal, it is exactly 12". I wear a size 12 and they fit me as they should.
There are no scuffs on the toes or heals, which I have never seen in all the years of selling vintage and antique western wear. You can see the leather is broken in on the calf area but no peeling or cracking. These were really cared for nicely. I do note a few things: there is some misc. white polish in a few spots on some of the blue stitching - this is not the first thing you or anyone else will notice as I am being thorough and type A accurate. I did not try to remove the polish because I do not know how long it has been there. There is an aged cast to some of the white stitching up near the boot pulls - now these I would cover over in white polish an easy fix. The soles and heals are very good for their age. For about 45 years old these are really in nice shape. The insides are clean.
They have the following numbers - LMM8244 - Size 12EE - 937091 - 1A3M. The Larry Mahan stitched tags are inside both boots and they also read "Made in El Paso Texas".
The color blue leather on the toes and heals looks fantastic with dark and light blue jeans. Once these are shined up, they are going to be a head-turning pair of boots.
