This 1970s Anders Pehrson Knuddling Floor Lamp is an awesome example of Space Age Modern Decor. It was made in Sweden by Ateljé Lyktan and is a wonderful stark white color. It will go with your Mid Century Modern, Vintage, Retro, Danish Modern and Transitional interior decor beautifully too. It is in Very Good working condition with a few expected flaws from age and time that are shown in our photos. The flaws are seen on the base and post that you might expect from age and use but nothing terrible. The Lamp stands 52.75" tall with a 21.653" measurement across the shade. We see no chips or cracks on the acrylic shade or post. The lamp has a 3 way switch so you can use a regular or 3 way light bulb to get different effects and of course you can use an LED standard size bulb. I would have liked to use a cool white bulb in this piece but due to COVID here in FL, we are not making any extra trips out. But as you can imagine it will have a white glow instead of the yellow glow.
Do not let the white acrylic fool you into thinking this is a lite weight piece. The base is weighted and this piece unboxed weighs close to 18 lbs. This floor lamp has it's original cord which looks all good but we recommend having any vintage or antique lighting fixtures checked before using over an extended period of time. The lamp comes apart in 3 pieces; a saucer like tray at the very top of the shade, the shade and the post/base. The saucer piece as the top has a very slight indentation not noticeable unless you are standing over it looking for it but we note everything we see for accuracy. We took many photos for you to see how exceptional this lamp is. Just a note - I noticed after my photos were taken, the louvered piece under the shade was not completely tucked under the shade in the photos. It does click under the shade as it's supposed to just fine. I simply missed it and didn't want to reshoot everything.
