1960s Rainbow Satin Gold Applique Christmas Ornaments Set of 6 Alice in Wonderland Style
Check out these 1960-70s Satin Applique Rainbow Ornaments. These are really incredible and we have not seen anything close. They remind us of an Alice in Wonderland style or a genie Moroccan style. Either way you can't take your eyes off of them and they are in Very Good vintage condition with no fraying to the satin what so ever.
They each have their original gold hanging cords attached. The satin is smooth and not frayed which in itself is incredible. The outer portion of the ornaments are done in interesting colors: a peachy rose (almost rose gold), aqua blue, and golden yellow. The applique gold cording frames out designs and inside the designs a vibrant iridescent rainbow of colors (these colors look something like a tie-dye running into each other but not quite mixing). The effect is brilliant. I hope our pics did these justice. We give these an 8.5 out of 10 for condition. We note a few small spots of discoloration on the golden yellow ball - very light age spots. No odors. Otherwise these are really incredible.
These are part of a larger collection of vintage Christmas ornaments we will be offering over the next few weeks. There is a link at the bottom of this page to check and see what we have added. Add our shop to your favorites, we have some great color lots of mercury ornaments coming up that will make a super monochromatic vintage tree.
