WWII Era Natural Jade Jadeite Bangle Bracelet from Burma. This vintage Jade Bangle has a wonderful smooth and waxy feel. It is semi-translucent which we hope can be seen in our photos. Please see all 8 photos to view this piece from every angle and up close.
This bracelet was brought back by a British Soldier in Burma during WWII. It is in Excellent Condition with no damage to report. You can see black specks and veining from the iron oxide and graphite deposits.
The bangle is untreated and does not luminesce under long or short-wave UV light.
This lovely bangle has a width of 9mm and an inside diameter of 7 1/4" BUT you have to get it over your hand. My model has a size 6 1/2" wrist and can just fit over her hand which has about an 8" diameter around the largest part of fingers and knuckles. Please use this as a guide. It fits her perfectly but just fits over her hand.
The feel of the jade is smooth and waxy. There is no damage to report. The bangle weighs 40.8 grams unboxed estimated 200 Carats total weight.
