Is there a special Queen, King or Princess that might love this antique sterling silver stickpin? It will come beautifully wrapped and ready to gift. This little treasure is a great find for the jewelry collectors too.
This is a signed piece and in Good estate condition for its over 100 year age (c1915). We note a slight bend in the pen almost at the halfway point minor, but mentioned for accuracy. The pin measures 2 1/2" in length with the crown measuring 3/4" across with a 3/8" tall measurement. No missing stones/pearls.
We did a light hand polishing, leaving some of the original patina so you can see the age and depth in the silver work. This brooch is marked F&B which was originally known for Foster & Bros Company out of Rhode Island in late 1800s. In 1898 a family member, Thomas Foster took over the company, and early on used this F&B mark without the flag.
This lovely little pin is definitely unisex in style and will work as a lapel pin, stickpin or tie pin. Would also be really nice on a scarf or hat.
