This antique Victorian slide measures 7/8" X 5/8" and is oval in shape but slightly convex. It is a lovely piece for the discerning Victorian collector.
The front of the slide has a stunning blue guilloche enamel design on sterling silver. It is also a signed piece by R. Blackington & Co. (Attleboro, MA 1862-1900).
The slide is in Excellent estate condition. The enamel is bright and clean and guilloche enamel is spotless. The back of the pendant has patina to the silver. We only did a light polishing, just enough to read the maker's mark. It will polish brighter if you choose to do so. We do not recommend soaking this piece in any type of cleaner as it will ruin the enamel work.
