A breath-taking piece of VNC (Vincenzo Nason) Opaline di Venise Art Glass trimmed in beaded metallic gold. This 1960s pedestal covered dish can be used as a candy dish, vanity powder jar or simply as decor. It has the BEST pale blue hue in the sunlight and it feels and looks glossy. The art glass on this piece is semi translucence which gives it an almost airy look or quality. It is even better in person, if you can imagine.
We took pics from several angles inside and out and hopefully you can see this is as clean as they come with no chips, cracks, flakes or other wear. The dish stands 6 1/2" tall to the top of the finial on the lid, 5" to the rim (without the lid) and it measures 3 1/2" across the opening. It has a 4 1/2" measurement across the widest point of the body.
This would make a lovely candy dish but can also be used as a powder jar. This will go with any of your romantic or elegant decors.
