A great piece for your coastal or nautical home. This1940s tin seashell mold has a nice natural patina and will work for making fun butter molds, candy and cakes. When not in use it will make an awesome coastal display. It can be propped up on a shelf or ledge in your kitchen or add a hold to the top or sides and hang it. It is in good condition with no dints or dents. We did not try to scour away the natural patina as we feel this is what makes this a great looking piece.
The tin measures 13" in length by 7" tall with a depth of approximately 3/8". Each shell mold measures 2 1/2" X 2 1/2". Can you imagine how cool butter pats in a shell shape would be at your next holiday dinner or luncheon??
We live on the coast of southwest Florida and love finding these vintage coastal treasures.
