Simply stunning estate 14k Gold Emerald Ring. This marquise cut emerald ring has a highly polished buttery gold setting with an Art Deco style. It would make a wonderful gift for the May birthday girl but we also love it for an engagement ring (and a wedding band will fit under the ring if it is not huge and bulky). My model tried on with a simple diamond band and it was beautiful. A band of diamonds and emerald would be breathtaking with this.
The natural emerald gemstone has a faceted marquise cut measuring 12mm X 6mm X 3.2mm with an estimated carat weight of 1.02. The marquise cut makes the emerald look larger than a 1 carat stone. You can see it on our models hand for size. (We apologize in advance for COVID hands/nails no model manicures happening) The emerald, like most has flaws. It is how they are unless you have an exceptionally expensive emerald. We back lit the ring in a photo, with a normal white light in the dark, so you can see the inclusions. The ring shows beautifully on the hand.
The 14k gold setting is extremely bright and clean. Any spots you see on the gold are either fingerprints or reflections. The setting has an art deco style and marked 14k. It has been safely tested and is guaranteed to be 14k gold. The inside of the band is also marked with the makers name Nissko (mfg NYC). We can date this ring to the early 1980s. Total weight with stone 3.6 grams.
