c1900 Ornate Double Inkwell crafted in iron and nickel plated. In beautiful condition for its age of roughly 120 years. No makers marks. In Very Good+ antique condition with no chips, cracks or other damage to the metal base. Would make a fabulous decorative piece for your desk or office and a special gift.
The inserts and hinged lids are all good as well. The inkwell base measures 11 1/2" long by 6" deep with a height of 4 1/2" to the top of the lid closed. It stands on 4 feet. The lids are both hinged and working properly. We see light patina in the center bowl area from age. This is minimal for a piece of this age. We did not overclean only did a light wipe down with a soft cloth.
