So many ideas for this gorgeous set of 6 Linder Kueps Bavaria Germany Porcelain Eggs (or Finials). They have a delicate embossed lattice and scroll design that matches a pattern of their vintage plates. I could not find the name of the pattern but found examples of the plates and they are stunning as well.
These decorative Eggs are larger than most collectible eggs and in EXCELLENT Condition. The stand 4 1/2" tall, measuring 3 1/2" wide and measure 12 1/2" around using a soft tape measure. We see no chips, cracks, flakes, crazing or discoloration to ANY of these. Each Egg has the Linders Kueps makers mark on the base.
They would make a gorgeous display on a fireplace mantel, shelf, windowsill, or landing ledge. There is a 1/2" hole at the base and they could even sit on branches or twigs. So many ideas.
They do not sit flat and you will need egg display stands (there all different kinds under $10 for a pile of them on Amazon). I like the low-profile clear ones that do not take away from the design but there are many options. I did not have these for my photos so I used a little museum wax to hold them in place (that is why some are a little tilted) but you can get an idea of their size.
These would make superb accents for your French Country, Country, Victorian and monochromatic styles.
