A stunning ornamental piece to add to your Victorian Home. This Vintage Victorian style solid brass candle wick snuffer trimmer scissors are from the 1950s. The scissors sit on 3 little legs making them easy to pick up. They are crafted in the manor of a Victorian period piece. They have a nice weight to them. We did a light hand polishing, and they are fairly bright. There is still a small amount of natural patina in the ornamental work it gives this piece depth. It will shine up brighter if you choose to do so.
The scissors measure 5 3/8" Long and 2 1/8" across the finger holes when closed. We see no dings, dents or other damage to the brass. This is a fairly weighty piece. It weighs 50.4 grams unboxed. Thats a lot of brass for an ornamental pair of scissors. They will display beautifully on a table, shelf, bureau, or even a vanity. The brass is bright, and you find yourself wanting to pick these up. These are the best kinds of treasures!
