c1910 German Viking Tall Ship Smoking Stand with Matchbox holder designed by Hugo Berger for Goberg. This is a wonderful antique treasure for your Arts and Crafts, Mission, Coastal, Nautical or Medieval Style home or office. It is completely original and in Good Condition for it's 110 years.
There is no physical damage. We wiped it down. We never over clean antiques. This has nicely oxidized. There is no rot. If you do not like its true antique form this can be painted. The ship is made from steel and the stand and post are cast iron. You can see remnants of a coppery or brass finish throughout.
The smoking stand has a metal ashtray insert and a matchbox holder inside the ship. We show the measurements in one of our photos as well as showing it next to a can of soda. It stands 38" tall with a 12" length on the ship and a 9 1/2" base.
