This antique Northwest region Persian Malayer Rug Runner would be beautiful at an entry way foyer, in front of your bed or gracing your dining room server. We also like it for our musicians that pile these beauties around to help cut on reverb. We love seeing these mixed with everything from transitional to boho chic decors. This antique rug has a superb design and color palette display a range of blues from navy to sky and periwinkle and deep coral against a navy backdrop.
This gorgeous rug measures 73" long (6 feet) by 41" wide (3.4 feet) and shows minimal age wear for being about 100 years old. We took many photos from every angle, front and back including close-ups for you to see this beautiful Persian Rug. Our last photo is a photo inside a photo, showing a photo of the back of the rug and then we added an extreme close-up over the top showing the knots next to a 1" ruler. This is a finely made piece.
As you will see from the photos this is one gorgeous antique Malayer. The rug is hand knotted and in Good+ Condition for it's age which is c1920-30. The fringe is missing along the ends but we can see that it was a hand tied fringe that we would expect from this fine quality of carpet.
