Big vintage Minolta XG-7 Camera Advertising printed in Japan. This c1977 advertisement can placed on a table top using the incorporated easel or hung using the attached hangers on the back. This was a popular Minolta camera because it put it between their AD and SR series making it affordable and reliable. This would be a great gift for the photographer, camera shop owner or collector of vintage cameras.
The condition is Good with some minor and expected wear for it's over 40 year age. It depicts two sky divers over a teal green blue body of water and a peninsula of land.
The piece as a whole measures 17 3/8" tall by 11 3/8" wide. With the easel up and in position the depth of the piece is about 3 3/4". With the easel folded back flat it is 3/8" in depth. There is a paper peel at the top right corner on the ocean (see photo) and a puncture under the "N" and some mild rubbing on the lower purple letters. Again this is 43 years old so this does not surprise me. The back is mildly and evenly tanned from age. The easel is intact and functioning as it should. There are also 2 built in hooks on short turquoise ribbon on the back top edge if you choose to hang instead of using easel.
