This antique William Henry Chandler print is the perfect piece for your antique decors. The print is entitled "Campers Paradise" and is a gorgeous, almost mythical looking campfire scene by a lake in the forest. It is a large framed piece big enough to place over your sofa, bed, server or anywhere you need an eye catching piece of artwork.
This antique Chandler print is signed in pencil on the matte board. It is exactly as we found it, packed away in a Florida estate but it's original roots are from the Northeastern part of the country around MA. We only did a cleaning of the outside glass and frame. We did not remove the print although we can see that someone removed it sometime in the past by the way the backing looks. Once the inside glass is cleaned this will be even more gorgeous. We did not want to take the chance of damaging anything so we left it as we found it. The frame and glass are all good and the print is bright and clean.
The print framed measures 43 1/2" X 20 1/4" with a 1" depth on the frame. The glass portion of the frame measures 39 3/4" X 16 1/4" and the part of the print which shows through the matting measures 32" X 11 1/2" but we suspect it is slightly larger under the matte board. The frame and glass are all good. The matting is evenly tanned and the print is gorgeous. It was difficult to photograph with the glass and we kept getting a glare (as you can see in the photo we took to show you the size next to our soda pop can). We see no rips, tears or stains to the print.
This framed print would work well with so many styles included Lodge, Farmhouse, Lake House, Victorian and probably a few more that I am missing.
