A fantastic vintage brooch in sterling silver for the owl or enamel jewelry collector. This Mexican silver beauty has vivid enamel in shades of blue with an ombre effect.
It measures 1 1/2" X 7/8" and has a convex body (see photo of side view) with about a 1/4" profile. The enameling is in perfect condition. The brooch is marked 980 for sterling silver purity which is a higher content of silver than most sterling silver we see which is 925. Also marked TM-171 and Maya. c1970.
