1920s Art Deco Men's Match Case Fob ready for a chain. This case is handsome in style and will hold a standard book of matches. This type of case was meant to be worn on a chain and tucked into a mans pocket similar to a pocket watch.
It measures 2 1/8" X 1 5/8" and has a fine ribbed design on the front with the monogram HES on the front. The back does not have a design simply silver. It is marked sterling silver for purity on a small metal tab on the inside lower section of the case (see 3rd photo). We are including the Art Deco period match book you see "Miss Jo Corrigan Tobacconist" with the case.
Condition is Good with a light visible patina on the outside and a darker patina on the inside of the case. No dings or dents. We only did a light hand polishing as we like the aged look on this piece.
