A wonderful vintage piece of Delft Blue Pottery. This Blue and White Canal House planter is a beautiful piece for display or for a small plants or herbs. It will go well with any of your blue and white decors and can be used on a shelf, ledge on in a grouping with other blue and white items.
The house stands 6" tall by 3" wide with a 4 1/4" depth. There are no chips or flakes. We note one tight hairline on the right side (see photo with arrows). Light crazing on base without discoloration. The back of the planter reads "Amsterdam Canal House Handpainted Delft Blauw" and on the bottom it is embossed "Holland Floral 03 Patented" There are 2 small drain holes plugged with tiny removable rubber stoppers to help with drainage if needed.
We know this is vintage and definitely pre 1980 but we are uncertain exactly how old.
