This 1940s Hall Pottery teapot is as clean as they come! It is done in the Philadelphia Shape design and has a cream back ground with stunning gold basket weave design, flowers, handle and spout. There are NO chips, cracks, flakes or other damage to the teapot or the lid. The only flaw we can see which is VERY MINOR is a light rubbing of the gold on the spout - see photo with arrow but this is difficult to see as it is very faint. The gold is bright, clean and in remarkable condition for a 70-75 year old piece. This is one of the finest examples we have seen as far as condition goes with this much gold gilt on a piece. An dark spots you see on the gold are reflections from camera. It stands approximately 7 1/4" tall (with the lid on) and 8" across from handle to spout.
The bottom of the teapot is marked with the Hall hallmark and also states that is a 6 cup teapot with the number 0,78 GL
This is a stunning piece for the Hall Teapot collector and a beautiful piece for Mid Century Decor.
