The perfect piece of vintage Franciscan Pottery for your Farmhouse decor. This large serving platter in the light gold color was produced between 1951 and 1954. This is probably the CLEANEST large art pottery platter I have ever had. The glaze is super glossy (any white spots you see are glare). This piece is in EXCELLENT condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, flakes or other wear seen. Do not mistake the strands of blowing wheat around the sheaf of wheat for scratches - this might be hard to see in the pics.
The platter is very large measuring 15 1/2" X 12" standing about 1 1/8". It would make a fantastic cabinet or cupboard display when not in use. We can see this with some great vintage and antique bowls surrounding it for the perfect farmhouse display. This will also go well with your Country Kitchen and Americana decor. We have a bowl in our shop close to this color now that would look great with it.
