A big and beautiful vintage Art Pottery Bowl in terracotta from Itlay has a gorgeous brick red and black glaze. This large serving bowl can be used for pasta, fruit, salad or as a gorgeous decorative piece in your farmhouse, country or transitional style home. It is in Excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks flakes, scratches or other imperfections.
This pottery bowl stands 5" tall and measures 10 3/4" across the opening. We see no chips, cracks, flakes or other wear. There are no scratches seen to the lovely finish. It would be lovely in a farmhouse or industrial farmhouse decor, country and primitive decors but don't let that stop you from adding a pop of color to your transitional and more contemporary decors. We have some art glass fruit in our shop that would be spectacular in this bowl!!
Those of you familiar with De Silva Italian pottery might recognize this glaze. This bowl looks nearly identical to De Silva's glaze and might be one of their earlier pieces. We have no way to confirm but we can tell you it will be an excellent match.
